What Happens When We Wonder?

At our most recent Right Brain Roots gathering, children became scientists together—asking big questions, trying ideas, and paying close attention to what happened next.

What happens when…?

Our experiments centered on cause and effect: when we change one thing, what changes next? Children explored, predicted, tested, and tried again. Each surprise became an invitation to look a little closer.

There was room for every kind of discovery—the careful observer, the enthusiastic tester, the child with a new theory, and the friend ready to help figure it out. The goal was not a single right answer. It was building confidence that curiosity is something we can follow together.

Learning through wonder

Science came alive through play, conversation, and shared problem-solving. We saw children notice patterns, revise their ideas, and celebrate one another’s discoveries—exactly the kind of joyful, connected learning we want to grow at Right Brain Roots.

We are excited for the questions children will bring to our next adventure.
